Unearthing Vale Grandfathers

From generation to generation, through our heritage, families have passed their knowledge, wisdom, strength and love of wine on to the next. This event will celebrate and rejoice in the tradition that is family, that is in winemaking, through the eyes of our grandfathers.

The Event is to be held in the Victory Hotel Cellar: The cellar is a spectacular room which houses one of the best lists of wine in Australia. 

The Menu: We will be creating a set mini degustation menu in conjunction with Doug, the Proprietor. Food and dietry requirements will be taken into consideration if known.

The Wines: The cellared wines focus on the McLaren Vale region with additional wines from other South Australian regions, all other states as well as the very best from overseas. Vintages covering the last 20 years are available. We will be working with a local wine maker and Shane Barker from Taste McLaren Vale to pair appropriate wines with the mini degustation menu, and this will be included in your costs. You may purchase additional wines on the night at your own cost.

The Attendees: Travelling by bus from Adelaide, or meeting us there, this will be a special night not to forget! There is limited capacity in the cellar (32) and so, please, book quick!
